Growing up in Ashland, Oregon, Zack's love of nature and the outdoors led to an interest in landscape design as a teenager. He brings a broad background in ecology, horticulture, site development and systems design to our work. A talented visual artist, he gives our site plans and design drawings a clean and stylized flair.

He is passionate about reducing the impacts that people have on the planet through the intelligent design of gardens and landscapes. He gives talks and teaches classes about environmental landscape design to adults and high school students. He is currently working with the City of Ashland to develop policies for wise water use in the landscape.
